Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in America, is an actress. After her debut film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames '83 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. In recognition of her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over twenty years. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of reviews. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. After her success in a film that she appeared in, the actress acted in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable films made by high school students ever made. Despite a budget of only $1 million, the movie's profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut was made with CBS Schoolbreak. The show was designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that featured her in. Her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story that revolves around a female superhero, in which Sheedy is a guest. Sheedy has won many prizes in 2005 for her performances. She also was honored an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
