Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actress and actor, is famous for her roles as the main character in many television series as well as her impressive performances in films. The actress is well-known on Canadian and American television. When Emily was twelve, she started to get attracted to acting when she visited her sister Katie on the set of one of her films. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and began auditioning. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was included in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Scared of the Dark? In one single scene she was not even speaking a word. In the year 15 Emily got her first big break when she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily is also a dancer, a photographer and was listed as one of the top 20 teens' actresses. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
